You may or may not have noticed but as of today, something is missing from the blog.   There is now no need to display my resume any more and that page has been deleted.

I’ll be starting a new job on May 3rd – which is my birthday and this is about as nice a birthday present as one could get.  I’m not going to be specific but I’ll say it represents a slight career change for me – it’s the kind of position I was hoping to get in the kind of company I was hoping to work for.   (Some of you may be curious – yes, they do know about the blog and so I won’t be writing about anything work-related here.)
