Google has a new product in Google Labs, Google City Tours.  (Did I write “Google” often enough in one sentence?)  Labs is their beta site and City Tours needs work, a lot of work, at least for Hong Kong.  I searched on “Hong Kong” and got no results.  So I tried “Central, Hong Kong” and the result was a two day walking tour of the Central district.  It’s pretty freaking sad.

On day 1, they suggest you visit 6 places.  This includes the Mandarin Landmark Hotel, the building on Pedder Street with lots of clothing stores, Soho, the LKF hotel, one art gallery and a dai pai dong (I think).  That’s it for an entire day.

Day 2 gets worse.  Six stops for the entire day, including the Ritz Carlton Hotel, which no longer exists.  Plus LegCo, City Hall and the hideous Cheung Kong Centre.

Definitely still a few bugs in the system.
