I’ve finished off the updates to the More Spike! page. I haven’t done any serious HTML coding in way more than 5 years and one thing I needed to re-learn was how to do HTML tables. Anyway, I think it’s a big upgrade from the first attempt at this page. Hoping that visitors here will view that page and maybe click on one or two of those links to see the articles in full.
Also, I’ve added a new gallery to the Photography page, Food. Some of these photos were originally taken for BC, some just for myself. There’s pictures here from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Taipei, Tokyo and Kyoto. Hope you enjoy them and comments are always welcome.

I can understand why you’ve done it from a marketing perspective, but the mouse over pop-up for sharing to facebook, digg, stumble upon etc is really, really irritating. If I don’t click on something, I don’t expect to have my view obscured by something I didn’t ask for, that then lingers, prolonging the agony. I would like to be able to move my mouse pointer around, scroll down the page etc in peace, only being served with content (especially when self-serving on the part of the site developer) at the point that I request it.
Just my tuppence worth.

I have to confess that I have sometimes found it annoying when I encounter it on other spaces as well. I’ll keep my eyes open for something better in the future.

Where did the title photo go ? The “old” theme was much better….even with the white on black background……….

Yeah, I took a look and found a checkbox for that.
