U2 – Their concert from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena last Saturday was streamed live on YouTube. U2ube – get it? Anyway, it’s still online so you can stream the entire 2 hour 20 minute show. And I found that the usual stuff to grab flash videos from YouTube works, so I was able to download this as an mp4 file in excellent quality.

Movie fans – Criterion seems to have lost the rights to The Third Man. Their recently released Blu-Ray edition received universal rave reviews for quality and of course the film is one of the all-time greats. It’s still in stock at Amazon … for now. If that’s not incentive enough for now, in the past, some of the Criterion standard definition DVDs that went out of print fetched more than 10 times their original price on eBay.
