How to Convert PDF Files to Read on the Amazon Kindle

(Interestingly enough, the above-linked blog appears to be from a woman in Singapore.)

Detailed instructions there (and you’ll need them, it’s not immediately intuitive). Basically you download the MobiPocket eBook Creator (free), let it convert your PDF to a series of HTML files and then let it build an eBook from that. It creates a .PRC file, which Kindle supports, so you can cut & paste the resulting file via Windows Explorer.

I just tested with a 20 meg PDF, took about 2 or 3 minutes, and voila! – it’s on my Kindle and accessible.
